Pixelboxx at DMEXCO 2018
Pixelboxx will be present at 12. and 13 September again at DMEXCO, the leading conference for digital marketing in Cologne. As partner of OXID eSales the digital asset management expert will present its service portfolio around the topic of efficient media management in Hall 7 / C058. The current DMEXCO Motto "Take C.A.R.E" shows according to the explanation on the organizer's website: "The digital economy is sensitized to the needs of users."
Artificial intelligence is a driving technology trend that opens up many useful functions and opportunities for users in digital marketing. These are already being used in the areas of digital asset management, e-commerce and personalization. The use of artificial intelligence results in automated image recognition processes that help DAM users to simplify processes such as metadata maintenance or asset search. These include, for example, the automatic keywording of standard images, the search for similar or comparable images or the search for specific color moods. In addition, object and face recognition offers the potential to automatically identify depicted objects or persons and to immediately keyword them.
Pixelboxx has recognized the innovation potential. In its new release of the DAM 3.1 the software manufacturer integrates for the first time artificial intelligence and machine learning methods into its digital asset management system. The current version already has a similarity search as well as a mostly automatic keywording. "In the field of artificial intelligence, we see great potential for the further development of our software. Many of the technologies are still in their infancy and are very promising for the future to make work processes easier for users. We will continue to consistently focus on the expansion of functionalities in this area", explains Michael Wegner, managing director of Pixelboxx GmbH.
